Can we support our troops without supporting the war? Does speaking out against war policy hurt the morale of the troops?
I can't teell you how many times I've been told that opposition to the war is leading to lack of success in Iraq and also to a lower level of troop morale. This simply boggles my mind that some people seem to believe that it is more important to kill people than to be honest and supportive of our rights under the Constitution of the United States. Freedom of Speech!!!! Say it LOUD and CLEAR. THIS WAR SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bring these kids fighting for greater access to oil home. ENOUGH LIES!!!!! BRING THEM HOME TO THE FAMILIES!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Troop Support
Tue, December 7, 2004 - 2:51 AMI totally agree. If I were a soldier, the only support worth having would be the support of those fighting to bring me home alive.
We should make a billboard to the troops:
Pick the support you want most from your fellow American's.
1. Support to keep you in Iraq dodging bullets and blowing up cities and innocent people.
OR
2. Support to bring you home to your family alive and in one piece.
How many soldiers would pick #1?
